It has already been four weeks since the end of the Condition.2015 Conservation and Digitalization Conference, so it is time for conclusions.

The organizers wish to thanks all the respondents for the time spent to complete the surveys.
As a result of acquired evaluation of the conference, a decision was taken that the National Maritime Museum in Gdansk will work to organize the next edition of the conference in three years. In order to improve the quality of the event in terms of organization and communication, received questionnaires have been analysed in details and general conclusions are presented below.
Questionnaires were conducted during the conference and have been completed by forty-four respondents, which is less than half of the participants of the conference. Most of the respondents learned about Condition.2015 Conference from friends or colleagues. Participants of conservation part of the conference consisted mostly of: conservators, archaeologists, restorers, consultants PhD students and professors, while in digitization part: digital resources specialists, managers of Digital Documentation Departments, heritage inspectors. By subscribing to the conference, the respondents mainly counted on the possibility of establishing new contacts, exchange of knowledge and experiences, but also to identify potential partners for cooperation or finding new methods and ideas in the field of conservation and digitization, which could be successfully applied in their daily work.
Participants rated the conference in terms of value and quality of the conference materials, the content of the presentations, the quality of communication with the Organising Committee, the possibility of establishing new contacts, conference venues, accommodation and catering. These categories were rated on a scale from 1 (bad) to 5 (very good). According to the most delegates most favorable ascpects of the conference were as follows: the substantive value of the conference, a variety of presentations, the ability to compare research results, visit to the Conservation Department of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk, range of topics related to conservation process, interesting presenters, the chance to meet new professionals and the exchange of experiences, organization of the conference and lack of registration fee.
Delegates pointed out that in the next edition of the conference Organising Committee should encourage the participation of more numerous representation of the museums of Western Europe, as well as provide an audio translation during the conference, extend the range of subjects and include more scientific aspects in the conservation part of the conference, and put more emphasis on presentations on current projects in museums. Overall, 98% of respondents definitely would recommend the conference to friends and colleagues from work.
